8th Annual Pig Picking and Singing Oct. 6

The 8th Annual Pig Picking and Singing will be held Saturday, October 6, 5-8 p.m. in the Beech Fellowship Hall at Reems Creek-Beech Presbyterian Church. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Youth and Adult Ministry Programs at Reems Creek-Beech Presbyterian Church and the Senior Adult Meal Program at Weaverville’s First Baptist Church.

Dinners will be made up of barbeque pork with beans, coleslaw, potato salad, hushpuppies, drink, and dessert. Cost will be $8 for adults and $4.50 for children 10 and under. Take outs will also be available. Entertainment will be provided in the sanctuary from 6-8 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased from First Baptist Church or Reems Creek-Beech Presbyterian Church. They will also be sold at the door. For information, contact Wolfie or Carolyn Otto at 645-8524, or Jan Lawrence at 658-3934.
