Pet Supply Store coming to Weaverville
Weaverville Pet Pantry, a new, locally-owned pet supply store, is opening in Weaverville next month!
The store will carry natural and organic pet foods, homeopathic and herbal remedies, supplies, accessories, toys and gifts. They tell me that although they will not be carrying horse supplies in the store, they will be an authorized dealer for Weaver Leather, an American company which uses American leather to make bridles and other horse supplies, so they’ll be able to special order those items for you. They’ll also accommodate special orders.
Other plans for the store include a community resource reading room, where materials will be available for education about foods and other relevant topics. Future plans for the community room include talks by trainers and vets, pet photography and other special events.
Although they do not have a specific grand opening date scheduled just yet, they plan to be open in time for Thanksgiving, and Irene tells me they have ordered Thanksgiving themed quinoa dog biscuits for the occasion.
Weaverville Pet Pantry will be located at 10 Garrison Branch Road, Suite 3, on the southwest corner of the 25/70-Monticello Road intersection. Owners Irene and Russ invite people and their pets to stop by while they continue to get things in order for their approaching opening day.
