Weaverville’s The Green Robin: Helping You Live a Greener Life

Published November 7th, 2007

Here’s an online Weaverville business I learned about just recently: The Green Robin.  The Green Robin is dedicated to “helping you live a greener life”.  The site was launched in the Spring, and is owned and operated by Weaverville resident Robin Payne.

According to the website, they offer luxury organic cotton bed and bath linens, organic clothing and toys for baby,  organic and all natural personal and baby care items and home cleaning products.  Their goal is to provide healthy alternatives to everyday items so you can create a greener life for yourself and your family.  Coyuchi, John Masters Organics, and High Desert Naturals are among the organic brand names they carry.

Robin says she will be teaching a Green Living 101 course at A-B Tech in January.  Also beginning in the New Year, she will offer Green Home Consulting. This healthy home audit will encompass your entire dwelling; working to detoxify the house, identify potential health hazards, and bring a greener home to life room by room.

Along with the store, class, and consulting, Payne also writes a blog, The Robin’s Nest, which provides organic news and green living tips.
