Out in front of Food Lion yesterday I found a group selling baked goods, raffle tickets for gift baskets and doing face painting. The people behind it told me they’re raising money for a local family who lost their home in a fire a few weeks ago. They’ll be out in front of Food Lion again today (April 3). If you’d like to support them or want more information they said they’ll be there beginning at Noon.

Do I know who they are?  No.  Do I know who they’re raising money for?  No.  Did I buy the cookies anyway?  Yes.
