I know that headline doesn’t sound quite right, but Maggie B’s Wine & Specialty Store is hosting a wine tasting as part of the Dining Out for Kids Weaverville Elementary/Primary School PTO Fund Raiser.  The tasting will be 5-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17.  For information call Maggie B’s at 645-1111.  They’re located at 113 North Main Street.

We will be hosting a wine tasting for the fund raiser, Dining Out for Kids. 10% of the proceeds from the wine tasting will go back to Weaverville Elementary and Primary school for good stuff like computers and books. So, of course, we will be tasting wines that contribute to great charities!
