Weaverville’s Boy Scout Troop 15 is having a BBQ lunch/dinner from 12-7:30 pm on Saturday, November 1 at the Weaverville United Methodist Church (85 North Main Street ). The cost of the dinner is $8, or children under 5 are free with adult. Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Boy Scout in the troop, or they can be purchased at the door. The evening activities will include a Live Auction at 6:30 p.m. , entertainment, silent auction, and door prizes. This is Troop 15’s primary fundraiser for the year. The funds raised help cover expenses for the year, such as awards, rank advancements, camping supplies, and scholarships to send some of the boys to summer camp.
