Lowe’s (24 Northridge Commons Parkway) is hosting a blood drive for the Asheville-Mountain Area Chapter of the American Red Cross the day before Thanksgiving, Wednesday, November 25, 2009. It’ll take place 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and all presenting donors will receive a holiday ornament and be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of three pairs of Delta Airlines tickets.  For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 782-9020.

Just an FYI if you would like to donate blood:  you must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in general good health. Positive photo identification is also required.
