A “Tourism Town Hall” meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, beginning at 5 p.m. at Weaverville Town Hall (30 South Main Street ).  It’s sponsored by the Buncombe County Tourism Development Authority, who is seeking the public’s suggestions and questions about the local tourism industry.  Here’s the invite:

Join tourism representatives at Weaverville Town Hall on May 6 for a presentation highlighting the mission of the Buncombe County Tourisum Development Authority, marketing initiatives and the economic impact of tourism. This is your chance to share suggestions and comments about the tourism industry with members of the BCTDA board and Asheville Convention & Visitors Bureau staff.
